Card testing machine
I designed this years ago when I was toolmaking.
I started with a paper sketch which I developed with production engineers into AutoCAD drawings of parts.
I made the machine and it was still used in production 10 years after I finished it, having tested 10s of thousands of cards.

Machine for hybridizing DNA.
The design brief for the machine was to incorporate all the fluid connections of the current machine into one manifold. The machine hybridized DNA, spotted on 4 microscope slides, each with 3072 dots of DNA.
